Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream is a soothing face cream that protects the skin, stimulates cell renewal, and calms irritated and stressed skin. It forms a thin protective film that keeps the skin moisturized for a long time.

The guajazulen contained in the cream is a plant oil extracted from chamomile oil, which soothes and repairs the skin and effectively improves skin damage. Guajazulen gives the facial cream its characteristic blue hue.

Centella asiatica promotes cell renewal, prevents scars and hyperpigmentation.

We recommend: especially for oily skin, acne-prone and sensitive skin. You can also use the face cream to soothe sunburned skin as well as after facial treatments, shaving, and laser treatments.

The cream has been found to prevent TEWL, or transepidermal water loss, from the skin's surface, making it an excellent cream for nighttime.

Moisturizer is the important final step in the skincare routine. Apply after other skincare products excluding face oils and sunscreen. Always patch test new products to ensure they suit your skin, especially if you have sensitive skin. Apply a small amount to an area like the neck and wait 24–48 hours to check for any reactions.

If skin irritation, such as redness, swelling or itching occurs after use or exposure to sunlight, stop use of the product and consult a doctor if necessary. Do not use for broken skin. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes and rinse with water if the product gets into the eyes.

Centella's antioxidants calm the irritated by relieving inflammation and reducing redness. It also improves and regenerates the skin and supports collagen production. In addition, centella brightens and evens out the skin tone, helps the skin retain moisture and reduces the visibility of scars.

Centella can have many different names depending on which part of the plant has been used, or what kind of extracts and oils have been made from it; eg Centella Asiatica Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract and Centella Asiatica Root Extract. In many cultures, including Korea, centella is also known as Tiger grass or Tiger herb. The name comes from the legend that wounded tigers would seek out wild centella and rub themselves on the plant's leaves to heal.

A nice product for the night

Wonderfully soothing. The smell might bother some, but not me.

Good working calming cream, but smell and texture is not for me.

Suitable for sensitive skin. I have very irritated areas under my eyes at the moment, but I can use this night cream. It does not irritate the skin. Very moisturizing and nourishing. (Large pores and surface dry, reddened skin)
