Puhdistusbalmi on ihonhoitorutiinin 1. vaihe mm. vedenkestävän meikin, aurinkovoiteen ja lian puhdistukseen: Hiero noin kolikon kokoinen nokare balmia kuiville kasvoille pyörivin liikkein, jonka jälkeen kostuta kädet ja hiero kasvoja uudestaan emulgoidaksesi puhdistusbalmin. Huuhtele pois lämpimällä vedellä ja jatka 2. vaiheen puhdistuksella (esim. puhdistusgeeli tai -vaahto).

If skin irritation, such as redness, swelling or itching occurs after use or exposure to sunlight, stop use of the product and consult a doctor if necessary. Do not use for broken skin. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes and rinse with water if the product gets into the eyes.

Centella's antioxidants calm the irritated by relieving inflammation and reducing redness. It also improves and regenerates the skin and supports collagen production. In addition, centella brightens and evens out the skin tone, helps the skin retain moisture and reduces the visibility of scars.

Centella can have many different names depending on which part of the plant has been used, or what kind of extracts and oils have been made from it; eg Centella Asiatica Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract and Centella Asiatica Root Extract. In many cultures, including Korea, centella is also known as Tiger grass or Tiger herb. The name comes from the legend that wounded tigers would seek out wild centella and rub themselves on the plant's leaves to heal.
