When to use: After cleansing

Medicube Super Cica Toner Pads soothe and moisturize the skin. The pads contain Medicube's own Super Cica 7 TM complex, which is a concentrated extract made from the leaf extracts of Centella Asiatica and heartleaf. The plant extracts effectively soothe irritated skin and help strengthen it against external stimuli.

The toner pads are suitable for all skin types, but especially for sensitive skin, dry and itchy skin and skin that has suddenly become irritated.

Toner pads can be used like normal toner as the first thing after cleansing. They bring moisture to the face and prepare the skin for other care products: Pick up 1 toner pad from the package with tweezers and gently wipe the face with it, avoiding the eye and mouth area. If the pad has two different sides, you can use its textured side for gentle exfoliation. You can also leave 2-3 patches on the skin as mini sheet masks for a few minutes.

If skin irritation, such as redness, swelling or itching occurs after use or exposure to sunlight, stop use of the product and consult a doctor if necessary. Do not use for broken skin. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes and rinse with water if the product gets into the eyes.

Centella's antioxidants calm the irritated by relieving inflammation and reducing redness. It also improves and regenerates the skin and supports collagen production. In addition, centella brightens and evens out the skin tone, helps the skin retain moisture and reduces the visibility of scars.

Centella can have many different names depending on which part of the plant has been used, or what kind of extracts and oils have been made from it; eg Centella Asiatica Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract and Centella Asiatica Root Extract. In many cultures, including Korea, centella is also known as Tiger grass or Tiger herb. The name comes from the legend that wounded tigers would seek out wild centella and rub themselves on the plant's leaves to heal.
