Nourishing toner enriched with Hanbang extracts. The toner contains 80% ginseng root water, 2% niacinamide and 0.04% adenosine, which strengthen and brighten the skin, making it visibly softer.

Apply an appropriate amount of essence as a first step after washing your face or apply a coat over your face. Gently pat the essence on your face.

Essence is applied after toner and before serums, ampoules or moisturizer. Essences are usually more runny than serums or ampoules in consistency, and the active ingredient concentrations are not as high. Essences contain more moisturizing and nourishing ingredients than toners. Pat the product onto the face with your hands. Always patch test new products to ensure they suit your skin, especially if you have sensitive skin. Apply a small amount to an area like the neck and wait 24–48 hours to check for any reactions.

If skin irritation, such as redness, swelling or itching occurs after use or exposure to sunlight, stop use of the product and consult a doctor if necessary. Do not use for broken skin. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes and rinse with water if the product gets into the eyes.

Ginseng is antioxidant (protects the skin from the effects of the environment), promotes cell renewal and boosts collagen production. In addition, it helps even out skin tone and gives it a glow, soothes irritated skin and improves blood circulation.

Growing ginseng takes several years, usually the rhizomes are harvested after about 4-6 years of growth. Ginseng grows naturally in shady forests, so its cultivation requires careful planning in terms of shading. Wild ginseng is the most valuable of all, as it is much rarer than its cultivated relative. The most commonly used variety, Panax ginseng root, can be seen in the ingredients list under names such as: Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Oil and Panax Ginseng Root Powder.

A credit product that has already gone through several bottles. Even with dry skin, it works fine in the summer on its own or with a light facial oil, and in the winter I layer it with a thicker oil. Doesn't disappear into the skin completely, as very watery products tend to do on your skin, especially in the colder months. Goes easily under make-up too.
