VT Cosmetics Cica Mild Foam Cleanser is a mild, alcohol-free and deep-cleansing foam cleanser for all skin types, but especially for stressed, combination skin that easily suffers from skin irritation. This rich and soft cleansing foam helps deep-clean dirt, light make-up and sunscreen residue from the skin without a tight or dry feeling after cleansing.

The CICALIAO™ compound (Centella Asiatica Extract, Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Madecassoside, Madecassic Acid + Green Propolis Extract) containing soothing Centella Asiatica extract and antibacterial propolis extract has been used in the cleansing foam to relieve skin irritation and redness and to promote softness, radiance and a brighter overall appearance.
Triple hyaluronic acid and various antioxidant-rich plant extracts (e.g. lavender, chamomile, rosemary) help keep the skin moisturized and balanced both during and after cleansing.

The large 300ml cleansing foam is almost three times bigger than most cleansers so this cleansing foam will not run out too quickly!

A water-based cleanser is used to cleanse the face either on its own, or after an oil-based cleanser as part of double cleansing. Apply cleanser to damp face in the morning and/or evening in circular motions, avoiding the eye and mouth area. Massage and then rinse with warm water.

If skin irritation, such as redness, swelling or itching occurs after use or exposure to sunlight, stop use of the product and consult a doctor if necessary. Do not use for broken skin. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes and rinse with water if the product gets into the eyes.

Centella's antioxidants calm the irritated by relieving inflammation and reducing redness. It also improves and regenerates the skin and supports collagen production. In addition, centella brightens and evens out the skin tone, helps the skin retain moisture and reduces the visibility of scars.

Centella can have many different names depending on which part of the plant has been used, or what kind of extracts and oils have been made from it; eg Centella Asiatica Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract and Centella Asiatica Root Extract. In many cultures, including Korea, centella is also known as Tiger grass or Tiger herb. The name comes from the legend that wounded tigers would seek out wild centella and rub themselves on the plant's leaves to heal.

Worth it

Huge package and nice price. The texture is thick and you only need a bit.

Really big package, i.e. super enough, cleans well and doesn't irritate the skin. A small minus is the rather strong smell.

My very sensitive skin does not react negatively to this at all, and the product is really sufficient. A very small amount is enough for the face and neck :)
